Rates are based on the following:


destination media (games/movies/website/etc), exclusivity, ownership, royalties, complexity of music composition, needs of mixing and mastering, business coordinations (such as contracting bands, etc.), business expenses (such as paying bands, studios, etc), and size/budget of the project.
